About the Photographer

Alyssa Lee is a Hawaii-based photographer and author whose work captures the beauty and spirit of the Hawaiian Islands. Her photography focuses on nature, landscapes, and volcanic environments, reflecting her deep connection to the ʻāina. Through her images and writing, she aims to capture the atmosphere of wild places and the quiet moments that make the islands so meaningful.

Her first coffee table book was published in 2024, Maui Memories, and her second in 2026, Kīlauea Volcano: Imagery of her Power & Beauty. She wrote irst memoir as well, Episode 36, which available on Amazon in physical print and as an eBook as of July 2026. Audiobook will be released in Fall of 2026 - stay tuned!
