About the Photographer

Alyssa Lee is a Hawaii-based photographer and author whose work captures the beauty and spirit of the Hawaiian Islands. Her photography focuses on nature, landscapes, and volcanic environments, reflecting her deep connection to the ʻāina. Through her images and writing, she aims to capture the atmosphere of wild places and the quiet moments that make the islands so meaningful.

Her first coffee table book was published in 2024, Maui Memories, and her second in 2026, Kīlauea Volcano: Imagery of her Power & Beauty. She has completed her first memoir as well, which be announced later in the summer or fall of 2026.
